Diolmhain Ingram Roche enjoys a cult-like status within Ireland’s underground. A polymath of electronic music, he’s known for releasing experimental pop as Wastefellow with notable releases on Soft Boy Records.

In recent years, he’s led the no-nonsense band, Really Good Time and toured with them throughout the UK, EU and Ireland.

Hazey Haze

Hazey Haze is a rapper from Limerick city, and one of the most influential voices in Irish hip-hop at the minute. He first appeared on the scene in 2015 and in that time he has released multiple projects, including debuting his LP 'Is Mise' on Fader Magazine.

Celaviedmai is an eclectic Irish artist whose trajectory evolved from uploading verses over Kaytranada beats on Soundcloud to swiftly sharing stages with the likes of Lil Wayne and Mac Miller.

Roots Factory

Roots Factory are a Limerick-born collective who ran their first Reggae dance in 2007, in the dearly missed Underground at Baker Place, where they hosted some of the hottest Sound System parties Ireland has ever seen, with a monthly line up of guests from the UK and beyond.

Fast forward to 2024 and the crew launched a record label, ran parties in London, Bristol and Barcelona, and collaborated with some of the biggest labels and producers in the game. It’s the first time the whole crew unites in Limerick since 2011 and it’s set to be an explosive night filled with classic Roots Factory selections as well as some of the toughest dubs the crew has produced over the years. Not to be missed.

 

Eva Keyes

Eva Keyes is an Irish reggae artist known for her deep-rooted reggae and dub music. Her tracks often blend soulful vocals with conscious lyrics, tackling social and personal themes.

She is a founding member of Roots Factory and has collaborated with various producers and artists, such as Indica Dubs and Alpha Steppa and Dan Taliras.

ALI DALY

Newest member of Prima Volta and Queen of 124bpm chuggers, Ali will be reunited with a fellow Sunday Spinners Resident for a top secret special event for the Weekender.

Ali and Éanna first started playing b2b together way back in the iconic days of The Wicked Chicken and after years apart their love of spinning vinyl on the West Coast of Ireland has brought them back together again.

Expect something.

 

Brigadier JC

Brigadier JC is a French selector and producer whose musical journey started in Limerick. His productions have been making waves around the world, getting support from Jah Shaka, Mungos Hifi, Aba Shanti to name a few… UK Sound System legend David Rodigan even included Roots Factory’s first maxi produced by JC in his “Best of UK Reggae” retrospective on his BBC show, along the likes of Shy FX and Mad Professor.

Frankie downbeat

Frankie is a record producer , DJ, label and store owner from Limerick. For the past 13 years Frankie has been living and working in the music industry Bristol UK. He has run two records labels (Roots Factory & Downbeat Melody) and has produced records for various London based reggae labels.

Frankie recently returned home to Limerick and opened Downbeat Records at the Wickham Way.

Macca

Macca is a DJ from Limerick with a hands-on style, known for his dubbed-out and psychedelic vibes. He’s an experienced operator who has played many parties in Ireland, the UK and Spain!

 

Cian Frawley

Frawl has spent the last 25 years of his life devoted to to the underground music scene, more recently organising backwardS parties in Limerick city. Music maker, one half of 60miles, one half of Frawl and Blackout. One of Limerick’s most seasoned DJs.

Éanna

Sometime's known as Tokin’ Whiteboy the man from Clare has been a stalwart of the Limerick music scene with , Bump, Macronite and DubbleBass under his belt to name a few.

A Sunday Spinners resident in Ennistymon, he will be doing something secret and special and Sat night with the Queen of the 124 bpm Chuggers. Keep your eyes peeled.

Jonezy & The RiseUp SoundSystem

For more than a decade, Conor Jones, commonly known as Jonezy, has been at the forefront of Irish soundsystem culture.

The Cork-based DJ, promoter, and soundsystem craftsman commits his life to the art of exquisitely made soundsystems via his party, RiseUP, which returns to Limerick for the Sunday sesh.

 

Broken Funk

The Original Wicked Chicken double act packing the tuffest Funk, reggae, beats, and latin busness in town.

The way of the road took them apart over a decade ago but Prima Volta has brought them back together again for the Weekend that in it. Expect big talk and big tunes.

Chris Moore

There’s something uniquely special about a DJ who learned their craft in the hills of Donegal. Hailing from a small fishing village and a family of fishermen, Christopher brings that same weathered dedication to his craft behind the decks, where he’s been honing his collection since his early teens.

His signature style comes from a lifetime of collecting vinyl across many many genres, each record carefully chosen for the perfect moment to keep the dancefloor boppin’.

Peter Curtin

Peter is one part of Prima Volta and a dj and record collector. He has been involved in radio for 15 years. He currently works with RTÉ lyric fm, presents a weekly music show on RTÉ 2XM and a monthly segment on JWave Radio in Japan.

He.previously presented a show on Worldwide FM called WW Éireann. He has produced two compilations for All City Records. 

Bill Baramus

Prima Volta member and Nobel prise winner, Baramus is rarely seen in public. Known for his ankle crippling sets and lightening fast turntablism it’s hard to believe he’s only doing his leaving cert this year.
